Sarah Scaillet

Sarah Scaillet is Head of the Belgian National Pensions Office (ONP).
She graduated with a Law degree from the ULB in 1997 and began her career as a lawyer at the Brussels Bar.
Social matters became her professional concern slightly later on. In 1999, she joined the National Social Security Office (ONSS) as legal attaché. In 2004 - 2005 and 2008 - 2011, it was as deputy legal counsel and legal counsel with the Social Security branch of Federal Public Service that she distinguished herself. Sarah Scaillet’s desire to act directly at the heart of the social system enabled her to take part to the Minister of Social Affairs’ strategic committee in 2005. Pursuing this objective, she then became General Manager of identification and declaration control for the ONSS in 2011.
