Olivier GODARD

Olivier Godard is honorary Senior Research Fellow at the CNRS (Centre national de la recherche scientifique – French National Center for scientific research) – 1979 – 2014. After having started his career at “CIRED-EHESS” dedicated to economy and social sciences applied to environment in 1973, he joined the econometric laboratory at the “Polytechnique” School. He taught at the EHESS, at Polytechnique (EDDEE Master), at Sciences-Po (international affairs Master) and at the University Paris Dauphine (EFC – Economics and financial Engineering).

Since 1990, he also works on global climate change issues (negociations, carbon pricing, tradable permits) and on the decision in an uncertain and controversial universe, which led him to write many articles and books about the precautionary principle.
